Sybiha: Strengthening support for Ukraine is of critical importance
Munich, 14 February (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with the Nordic Baltic Eight (NB8) group on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference and called for increasing defense support for Ukraine and strengthening pressure on Russia.
On the second day of the Munich Security Conference (MSC), Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with representatives of the Nordic Baltic Eight countries, consisting of Estonia, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden.
Sybiha stated that he provided information on peace efforts and diplomatic processes during the meeting, saying, "Strengthening support for Ukraine and increasing pressure on Russia are of critical importance for the success of diplomatic efforts. We discussed additional steps to raise the cost of war for the aggressor."
Sybiha also called on the NB8 group to completely ban the entry of those involved in Russia’s aggression and their family members, adding, "We are grateful for the unwavering support of our friends. Together, we defend our shared values and the security of Europe."
