Sybiha: This agreement will create opportunities for Ukraine’s long-term recovery
Kyiv, May 1 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that the Agreement on the Establishment of the U.S.–Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund marks the beginning of a new era in the U.S.–Ukraine strategic partnership.
Sybiha announced that the intensive work on the agreement text resulted in a balanced and robust document beneficial to both countries.
“This agreement will ensure Ukraine’s long-term recovery and prosperity, while also creating new investment opportunities for the United States and American companies. The specific reference to Ukraine’s EU accession process is important in aligning with the country’s goal of European Union membership,” he said.
