Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemns Israel’s settlement expansion in Jerusalem
Ramallah, November 5 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the Israeli authorities’ tender for the construction of 356 new housing units in the “Adam” settlement northeast of Jerusalem, calling it a clear violation of international law.

The ministry stressed that this step is part of the Israeli government’s systematic settlement policy, which aims to eliminate the possibility of implementing the two-state solution. It stated that this project seeks to impose the so-called “Greater Jerusalem” colonial plan and to create a new reality on the ground.
The Foreign Ministry held the Israeli government fully responsible for the consequences of these dangerous colonial policies, reminding that settlement activities in the West Bank are illegal under international law, and noting that UN Security Council Resolution 2334 defines all settlement activity as a clear violation of international law.
