According to CCTV, US President Donald Trump, speaking at the opening meeting of the “Board of Peace” in Washington D.C., shared a timeline regarding the ongoing nuclear talks with Iran.

Trump stated that the fate of the nuclear negotiations will likely be known within the next 10 days, describing Iran as a “hot spot” at the moment.

Assessing the options regarding the process, Trump said, “We may have to take another step forward, or we may not. Maybe we will make a deal.”

Trump noted that it has proven over the years that reaching a meaningful agreement with Iran is not easy, warning, “We have to make a meaningful deal, otherwise bad things will happen.”

In a statement issued by the White House on Wednesday, it was noted that Tehran is expected to present more details about its negotiating position in the coming weeks. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt emphasized that diplomacy is always Trump’s “first option,” but added that many reasons and arguments could be presented for launching an attack against Iran.
