Tsahkna: Russia’s aggression toward Ukraine contains many important lessons
Tallinn, December 4 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated that European and NATO countries must learn much from the ongoing conflict in Ukraine to better prepare for the evolution of war and the future of international security.
According to Newsweek, Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stressed that European nations have much to learn from the nearly four-year-long conflict in Ukraine, including how to better prepare for the evolution of warfare and the future of global security.
Addressing topics such as European security and Russia’s ambitions toward its western neighbors, Tsahkna emphasized that NATO members have many lessons to learn from this conflict.
He stated that Russia’s aggression against Ukraine contains many critical lessons and outlined them as follows:
“First, nations must not be afraid to fight against Russia. Second, all atrocities committed by the aggressor must be exposed. Third, Russia is a threat, and we must invest in military capability to counter it. Fourth, Europe must finally understand that Russia is a threat and that investment in military capacity cannot be ignored.”
