Australia provides 95 million dollars in military aid to Ukraine
Canberra, December 4 (Hibya) – Australian Foreign Minister Senator Penny Wong announced that the government will increase its military support for Ukraine by launching a new aid package.
Wong stated that the Albanese government is boosting its military support for Ukraine, and that the new package includes 95 million dollars in military assistance as well as additional sanctions on 45 vessels linked to the “shadow fleet” used by Russia for oil transportation.
She noted that with this step, Australia’s total support to Ukraine since the beginning of the war has exceeded 1.7 billion dollars. “Australia continues its steadfast support for Ukraine as we pursue our coordinated efforts to deprive Russia’s war economy of revenue,” she said.
