Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna stated that bold and necessary steps were taken last week to toughen sanctions against Russia and further isolate Putin.

Tsahkna emphasized that Russia’s terror against civilians and its nuclear threats show that the risks are high, adding, “Our current path is the only right one.”

He said that pressure must be maintained, unity preserved, and Ukraine supported until Russian President Putin finally sits down at the negotiating table.
