President Zelensky announced that he met with Dutch Foreign Minister David van Weel in Kyiv.

Zelensky stated that they discussed the energy situation in Ukraine and expressed his gratitude for the new aid package supporting Ukraine’s energy sector.

Zelensky emphasized that Russia continues to attack Ukraine’s energy, gas, and water supply infrastructure every day. “We also discussed the use of frozen Russian assets for the benefit of Ukraine. The Netherlands supports this decision and emphasizes the importance of maintaining pressure on Russia,” he said.

Zelensky added that they also discussed holding Russia accountable for its war crimes. “We thank the Netherlands for its role in establishing the Special Tribunal for Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. I am grateful that we can continue to rely on the Netherlands’ support,” he said.
