UAE Air Defense Neutralizes 23 Ballistic Missiles and 56 UAVs
Abu Dhabi, April 4 (Hibya) - The United Arab Emirates' (UAE) air defense systems intercepted 23 ballistic missiles and 56 unmanned aerial vehicles launched from Iran today. In total, 498 ballistic missiles, 23 cruise missiles, and 21,419 UAVs have been countered during the attacks.
According to a statement from the UAE Ministry of Defense, the country's air defense systems successfully neutralized 23 ballistic missiles and 56 UAVs of Iranian origin today. Since the beginning of Iran's reckless attacks, UAE systems have dealt with a total of 498 ballistic missiles, 23 cruise missiles, and 21,419 UAVs.
The statement noted that two members of the armed forces were killed during the attacks, along with a Moroccan civilian contracted with the military. Among civilians, 10 people were killed, while 217 individuals of various nationalities were injured, ranging from minor to severe.
The Ministry of Defense emphasized its determination to protect the country's sovereignty and security, reaffirming its readiness to confront any threat in order to safeguard national interests and capabilities.
