Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The United Arab Emirates has officially launched preparations for the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX), the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX), and the International Defence Conference, which will be held in Abu Dhabi in 2027.

According to a statement by the UAE Ministry of Defence, the Higher Organising Committee responsible for the events held its first preparatory meeting.

The meeting reviewed preparations for the event, which will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from January 25 to 29, 2027.

The events will be held under the patronage of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The meeting was chaired by Brigadier General Ahmed Mohammed Ali bin Adi, Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee for IDEX and NAVDEX.

Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, as well as subcommittee chairs and numerous representatives from public and private sector institutions, also attended the meeting.

Officials said IDEX and NAVDEX 2027 are being planned as the largest editions to date, with strong international participation expected from senior government officials, decision-makers, and leading defence companies from around the world.

The statement emphasized that the exhibitions will continue to strengthen their role in developing defence capabilities, establishing strategic partnerships, showcasing advanced technologies and innovations, and bringing together global actors in naval defence and security under one roof.
