Ukrainian Foreign Ministry: At least 4 people killed in Kyiv
Kyiv, March 14 (Hibya) - The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that civilian residential areas and energy facilities suffered heavy damage in large-scale air attacks carried out by Russia across the country.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared the toll of the missile and unmanned aerial vehicle attacks carried out by Russia overnight.
The ministry provided the following information regarding the targets and results of the attacks:
"Russia launched a large-scale nighttime drone and missile attack targeting energy infrastructure and civilian settlements in the regions of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipro and Mykolaiv. At least 4 people were killed in the Kyiv region and many others were injured. Homes, schools, a dormitory, workplaces and warehouses were damaged in four districts of the region."
The statement drew attention to the scale of destruction caused by the attacks, saying: "Fires broke out in residential buildings and private houses and around 30 locations were damaged. Emergency teams, medical personnel and police continue to clear debris and assist residents."
The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its call for defense support by addressing international partners.
