Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi reacted to comments made by a former spokesperson for a former Ukrainian president in the French media, urging journalists to treat the individual's statements with caution.

Tykhyi said the individual had left the former Ukrainian president's team years ago, stating, "The former spokesperson for the former President of Ukraine left the team years ago."

Tykhyi alleged that the individual later aligned with Russian propaganda narratives, saying, "Since then, the person has gained a notorious reputation for manipulative statements that systematically repeat Russian propaganda narratives."

Addressing French media outlets, Tykhyi urged journalists to exercise the highest level of caution regarding the recent remarks, saying, "Given the recent interventions in the French media, we urge journalists to exercise the utmost caution. Do not be misled by statements that in no way reflect the reality of the situation in Ukraine or the Ukrainian presidency."

Tykhyi argued that the individual should not be regarded as a reliable source of information, stating, "The person cannot be considered a credible source; rather, they appear to be a new voice intended to replace Xenia Fedorova, who is legitimately the subject of an arrest warrant."
