President Zelenski shared details of his talks with Macron. He stated that they discussed Ukraine's core defense needs, particularly strengthening air defense, emphasizing the need for reliable protection against Russian missiles and drones.

Zelenski also noted that they discussed additional missile supplies for the SAMP/T and Crotale systems, adding:

"We also extensively discussed financing the production of all types of Ukrainian UAVs. France is ready to assist us in this matter, and we will work together.

We had a detailed discussion about Ukraine's path toward European integration. We decided to work on finding solutions to enable the opening of the first negotiation round as soon as possible."
