Ukrainian President Zelenskiy: The situation in Kyiv remains difficult
Kyiv, February 6 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated that the situation remains difficult in Kyiv, where more than 1,200 buildings in different districts of the capital are still without heating.
Ukrainian President Zelenskiy announced that he had held the daily coordination meeting.
Stating that reports were presented on the situation in Kyiv and its region, as well as in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions, Kropyvnytskyi and its region, the Vinnytsia and Dnipro regions, Zaporizhzhia, and settlements near the Russian border and close to the front line, Zelenskiy said:
“I find the performance of the Air Force insufficient in some regions of Ukraine, and together with the Air Force Commander and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, we discussed which decisions must be implemented immediately in order to more effectively prevent the air attacks known as ‘Shahed’.”
Zelenskiy noted that there are reports on the restoration of the energy sector and the support provided to the population in the Kharkiv region, adding: “The situation remains difficult in Kyiv, where more than 1,200 buildings in different districts of the capital are without heating. The residents of these buildings need more support. I have instructed that digital tools be used to identify and analyze in real time the specific needs of people and communities.”
