Ukrainian President Zelensky attended Pope Francis' funeral mass
Rome, April 26 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky attended the funeral mass held in honor of Pope Francis.
Delegations from about 130 countries participated in the farewell ceremony at St. Peter's Square. Among them were representatives of royal families and over 60 heads of state and government from all continents.
Among the attendees were U.S. President Donald Trump and leaders from Europe, Africa, Latin America, and the Indo-Pacific region.
Ukrainian President Zelensky held a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump.
Zelensky stated that they had a good meeting: "We discussed many issues one-on-one. We hope to achieve results on each topic we addressed: protecting the lives of our people, achieving a complete and unconditional ceasefire, and establishing reliable and lasting peace to prevent another war. If we achieve common results, this meeting could be historic. Thank you."
