UN Secretary-General Guterres met with Kazakh President Tokayev
New York, August 3 (Hibya) – United Nations (UN) Secretary-General António Guterres met with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Guterres stated that he and President Tokayev were present at the signing of the host country agreement for the UN Regional Center for the Sustainable Development Goals for Central Asia and Afghanistan.
Guterres said, "This Center carries the promise of partnership and progress and marks the beginning of a new era for the region."
