Ramallah, August 5 (Hibya) – Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa emphasized that Israel does not want to see a Palestinian state and that it wages war against the Palestinian people not only through killing and destruction, but also through economic blockade, stressing the need to resist such actions.

Speaking at the start of the weekly Cabinet meeting in Ramallah, the Prime Minister also highlighted the significance of the outcomes of the International Conference on the Recognition of the State of Palestine held in New York, with the participation of representatives from 128 countries and international organizations. He noted that the conference was a turning point, and that many heads of state contacted President Mahmoud Abbas afterward to express their intention to recognize the State of Palestine during the upcoming United Nations General Assembly in September.
