Ghebreyesus: Africa does not need charity
Geneva, August 5 (Hibya) – World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated that Africa does not need charity.

Ghebreyesus emphasized the need for leadership from governments to invest in their people and health, saying: “We need leadership from creditors to provide loans on fair terms. We need leadership from donors to strengthen national systems instead of creating parallel structures.”
