UNRWA: As food and aid are weaponized, despair spreads
New York, May 7 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that hunger and despair are spreading in Gaza as food and aid continue to be used as weapons.
UNRWA Communications Director Juliette Touma stated in a briefing on Gaza that for more than two months, nothing that could help people survive has been allowed into the region.
The agency's statement emphasized that hunger and despair in Gaza are growing as long as food and humanitarian aid are used as tools of war.
