UNRWA: Food stocks in Gaza are nearly depleted
New York, May 1 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) reported that food stocks in Gaza are close to running out.
UNRWA stated that no humanitarian or commercial aid has reached Gaza for nearly two months.
The statement added: “Aid is waiting outside Gaza, ready to move. Critical assistance from UNRWA and its partners is waiting at the border. Border crossings must reopen. People in Gaza cannot wait any longer.”
