UNRWA: Gaza has turned into a graveyard for children and the starving
New York, July 11 (Hibya) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) issued a statement regarding the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The statement emphasized that the silence and inaction of the international community amounts to “complicity in the crime.”
UNRWA noted that Gaza has turned, in full view of the global public, into a graveyard for children and starving people, stressing that residents are being forced to choose between “dying of hunger” or “being targeted by bullets.”
The statement said: “This is the most ruthless and Machiavellian plan of destruction carried out with impunity. Our norms and values are being buried one by one. Inaction will bring greater chaos. The time to act has long passed.”
UNRWA underlined that the international community must immediately assume responsibility for the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza.
