UNRWA: Large-scale delivery of aid to Gaza must be allowed
Geneva, October 15 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has called for permission to deliver large-scale humanitarian aid to Gaza, emphasizing the urgency of humanitarian needs in the region.
In a statement, UNRWA said that the agency has the capacity to deliver vital assistance directly and reliably to those in need across the Gaza Strip.
“Thanks to UNRWA’s access, network, and reliability in the region, aid can be delivered directly to those in need. To meet urgent needs, UNRWA must be allowed to carry out large-scale humanitarian deliveries to Gaza. Let us do our job,” the statement said.
