UNRWA: Over 8,000 teachers in Gaza ready to restart education
New York, October 18 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that over 8,000 teachers in Gaza are ready to help children resume their education.
In a statement, UNRWA emphasized that children in Gaza have been unable to attend school for a long time, noting that the agency is the largest humanitarian organization in the region and that its work must continue without obstruction.
The statement added: “Children in Gaza have been deprived of education for far too long. UNRWA is fully prepared, with all its resources, to help them return to learning.”
