UNRWA: Violence escalating in the West Bank
Gaza, 7 December (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) told The National News that the situation in the occupied West Bank is deteriorating.
In its statement to The National News, UNRWA reported that escalating Israeli operations and settler violence have forcibly displaced tens of thousands of Palestinian refugees, preventing them from returning to their homes.
The agency also noted that homes have been demolished, camps emptied, and humanitarian needs in the region are rapidly increasing.
