US announces continuation of naval blockade against Iran
Washington, May 1 (Hibya) – The United States Command announced that US forces continue patrol operations in international waters and that the naval blockade against Iran remains in effect.
The statement said that maritime traffic in the region is being closely monitored and that security measures are ongoing.
The command stated: “US forces continue to patrol international waters and enforce the ongoing naval blockade against Iran.” It also noted: “So far, 45 commercial vessels have been instructed to turn back or return to port, ensuring compliance with the rules.”
