It was reported that, in light of ongoing regional tensions, the US Embassy in Jerusalem reiterated its standard advice to its personnel and all US citizens in Israel to remain mindful of personal security and preparedness practices.

The statement said all travelers are encouraged to review the most up-to-date security advisories, reconsider their travel plans in case of potential disruptions, and make appropriate decisions for themselves and their families.

It added: “While traveling or living abroad, crises can arise unexpectedly; having a good personal security plan helps assess potential scenarios in advance and determine the most appropriate course of action. The posture, staffing, and operations of the US Mission remain unchanged, and consular services continue as normal.”
