US President Trump's congratulatory letter to Azerbaijani President Aliyev
Baku, April 10 (Hibya) – United States President Donald Trump sent a congratulatory letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Nowruz.
President Trump, on behalf of the United States, wished Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan a joyful Nowruz.
Highlighting the long history of cooperation between the two countries and expressing hope for future accomplishments, Trump said, “We appreciate Azerbaijan’s support and friendship with our partner Israel and applaud the steps you are taking to bring peace to the region with Armenia.”
Trump emphasized that the US continues to be a steadfast supporter of Azerbaijan’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
