Von der Leyen: Ukraine's military momentum has strengthened
Brussels, July 15 (Hibya) - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Kyiv for her 11th visit since the start of the war. Von der Leyen said the visit will focus on integrating defense industries, Ukraine's European Union accession process, and preparations for the coming winter.

Von der Leyen said her visit comes at “a special moment,” adding, “Ukraine has gained strong military momentum. The tide is turning.”
She noted that she would announce new initiatives to strengthen defense cooperation. “I will announce new initiatives to integrate our defense industries. This will enable us to produce more and faster,” she said.
Von der Leyen also stated that Ukraine's European Union accession process and preparations for the upcoming winter would be discussed during the visit.
