The White House shared with the public the steps recently taken by the Trump administration in the areas of the economy, employment, immigration, energy, security and infrastructure.

The statement said the U.S. economy created 162,000 new jobs in August, nearly three times expectations. It also noted that 16,000 new jobs were created in manufacturing that month, bringing total employment growth in the sector since the beginning of the year to 58,000.

The statement said private-sector employment has increased by more than 1 million since Trump returned to office. It also announced nine new “most-favored-nation” agreements as part of efforts to combat drugs, saying the agreements are expected to save Americans a total of $600 billion over the next 10 years.

The Department of Transportation reportedly shut down 270 commercial driver’s license (CDL) courses that were said not to have enforced English proficiency requirements, while Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained more than 2,100 undocumented migrants as part of “Operation Rotten Apple” in New York.

The White House also said the immigrant population has declined by approximately 3 million since Trump returned to office and that an oil agreement with Venezuela is expected to increase U.S. oil supplies.

The statement said the “Watershed 250 Project,” which uses artificial intelligence and cybersecurity tools to protect water systems, has been launched, along with the “Foundry School” initiative aimed at training entrepreneurs, engineers and technicians to support the country’s reindustrialization.

It also said the Supreme Court approved the Trump administration’s request to continue construction of the White House ballroom, while American Airlines and Delta launched $1,000 Trump Accounts matching programs for employees’ children.
