Wong: Milton Dick’s leadership will contribute to parliamentary diplomacy
Canberra, October 9 (Hibya) - Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong, commenting on the election of House of Representatives Speaker Milton Dick as president of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, said, “His ability to bring people together will make an important contribution to the Inter-Parliamentary Union in its role of strengthening democratic institutions and advancing parliamentary diplomacy.”
Australian Foreign Minister Wong congratulated House of Representatives Speaker Milton Dick on his election as president of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
