Yeşilgöz-Zegerius: We are ready if our Belgian friends ask for help
Amsterdam, August 15 (Hibya) – Dutch Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius announced that the Netherlands will provide support with two Chinook helicopters to respond to the large wildfire continuing in Belgium’s Hoge Venen region.

Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said Dutch troops would take part in firefighting efforts following Belgium’s request for assistance, saying, “We are ready when our Belgian friends ask for help.” Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said she was proud of the Dutch military personnel deployed to support the neighbouring country.
