Zelenski: I expect all agreements on weapons deliveries to be implemented on time
Kyiv, October 5 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski said they reviewed the schedule for weapons deliveries from partners and that he expects the implementation of agreements concerning ammunition for F-16 fighter jets, drone and missile production, as well as joint production projects with European countries.
Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski held a meeting with the Defense Ministry team and the diplomatic team of the Presidential Office regarding the schedule for weapons deliveries from partners.
Zelenski said the agreements are clear and that new agreements are being added every day as part of discussions with leaders at the political level. “In this context, we have ammunition for our fighter aircraft, especially our F-16s, additional financing for the production of various types of drones and missiles, as well as joint production projects with Europeans,” he said.
Zelenski said he expects the established implementation schedules for all agreements to be respected.
Commenting also on Ukraine’s long-range operations, Zelenski said he discussed the conduct of these operations with Yevhenii Khmara and Mykhailo Drapatyi. He added that new tasks related to long-range capabilities had also been defined.
