Zelensky: Attacks on residential areas continue
Kyiv, Jan. 30 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that drone attacks targeting ordinary residential areas in cities are continuing.
Ukrainian President Zelensky announced that he held a special coordination meeting on the situation in Ukraine’s regions and on recovery efforts.
Zelensky noted that there were no attacks on energy facilities last night, but that energy infrastructure in several regions was targeted yesterday afternoon. “We are now observing that the Russian army is shifting toward attacks on logistical targets,” he said.
Stating that drone attacks on ordinary residential areas in cities are continuing, Zelensky added:
“Moreover, a ballistic missile was used in the Kharkiv region, and warehouses belonging to a civilian production facility were damaged; this facility belongs to an American company. In Zaporizhzhia, ‘Shaheds’ attacked a district of the city. FPV drone attacks on Kherson, cities in the Dnipro region, and especially Nikopol continue almost without interruption. The situation remains difficult in the border areas of the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.”
