Zelensky held a phone call with Dutch Prime Minister Schoof
Kyiv, January 13 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that during a phone call with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof, he conveyed Russia’s intense attacks on the energy sector and emphasized the importance of air defense ammunition and energy support.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a statement regarding the phone call he held with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof.
Providing information about Russia’s attacks and their targets, Zelensky said: “I informed him about Russia’s intense drone and missile attacks against our cities and settlements. It is clear that the Russians are focused on destroying lives rather than diplomacy.”
Zelensky said: “Their targets are the energy sector. At this moment, ensuring sufficient support for Ukraine is extremely important. This concerns both our resilience and recovery, as well as adequate air defense ammunition.”
Referring to priorities and diplomatic contacts, Zelensky concluded: “Air defense missiles and all necessary assistance for the energy system are currently the top priorities. We also discussed the course of communication with the American side and possible meetings. I am grateful for the support and readiness to help.”
