Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone call with United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Sharing details of the conversation, Zelensky said: “I condemned Iran’s recent attacks against the United Arab Emirates. And we must make every effort to truly protect the safety of life in the Gulf region, which is of global importance.”

Referring to technical cooperation in the field of defense and security, Zelensky said: “In this context, it is critically important that our teams continue close cooperation in the field of security.”

Speaking about Ukraine’s position, Zelensky stated: “I was pleased to hear that Ukrainian expertise truly helps create reliable protection for the safety of life. We discussed continuing this work.”
