Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that since yesterday, all units have been working continuously to restore electricity, heating, and water supply after Russia’s attacks on energy infrastructure.

Noting that hundreds of thousands of families are still without electricity in the regions of Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Sumy, and Dnipro, Zelensky said:

“I sincerely thank everyone contributing to the repair efforts. Last night, our communities were attacked again and civilians were injured. Russia is prolonging the war and aims to inflict the greatest possible damage on our people. This week alone, Russian forces used more than 1,500 attack drones, around 900 guided aerial bombs, and 46 missiles of various types against Ukraine. In just one week.”

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine needs a peace based on dignified conditions.
