Zelensky: I held a daily coordination meeting
Kyiv, February 19 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he held a daily coordination meeting to discuss the situation regarding electricity and heating supply in the regions.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he held a daily coordination meeting to review the situation of electricity and heating supply in the regions. Zelensky said, "We conducted a detailed assessment of the ongoing repair works and service delivery to the public, particularly in Odesa and certain communities across the region, as well as in the Dnipro and Mykolaiv regions – where conditions are particularly difficult."
Zelensky also noted that reports were presented on the situation in Kharkiv and its region, as well as in the Poltava, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions. He added that they additionally analyzed what had been achieved in Zaporizhzhia and which elements of that region’s experience could be scaled to other regions.
Zelensky said, "Based on the experience of this winter, we are preparing decisions on the restructuring and modernization of communities’ energy supply systems. A comprehensive plan for the next heating season will also be reviewed and approved at the national level."
