President Zelensky congratulated President Trump on the success of the peace agreement in the Middle East, saying, “If war can be stopped in one region, it can be stopped in others as well — including Russia’s war.”

Zelensky noted that they discussed Russia’s attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and thanked Trump for his willingness to support his country.

He said they discussed strengthening air defense and concrete agreements on the matter, adding, “We have good options and solid ideas that will truly strengthen us.”

Zelensky emphasized that Russia must be ready for genuine diplomacy, which can only be achieved through strength.
