Zelensky: Russians intensify terror on cities to intimidate our people
Kyiv, July 13 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia is intensifying terror on cities and communities to increasingly intimidate the Ukrainian people.
President Zelensky announced that during seven days of large-scale Russian attacks, more than 1,800 drones, over 1,200 guided aerial bombs, and 83 missiles of various types were used.
Emphasizing that Russians are ramping up terror in cities to frighten civilians, Zelensky said:
"However, despite Moscow’s plans, our air defense forces are achieving good results. Interceptor drones are performing particularly well – hundreds of Russian-Iranian 'Shaheds' were shot down last week. And every meeting with our partners this week focused on expanding this technology."
Zelensky stressed that the Shaheds are one of Russia’s tools to prolong the war and added: "We must neutralize this threat to activate diplomacy sooner. We hope that all agreements aimed at strengthening our defense will be implemented."
