The meeting addressed relations between the two countries and the process of European integration. Zelensky emphasized that European Union membership is a strategic goal for both nations.

The leaders also discussed strengthening intergovernmental cooperation and joint efforts in regional security.

Zelensky thanked Serbia for its support of Ukraine’s territorial integrity, stating, “Serbia’s support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity is very valuable to us.”

Zelensky also expressed gratitude to the Serbian President’s wife, Tamara Vučić, for participating in the “First Ladies and Gentlemen Summit” and for her sensitivity regarding the issue of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia.
