Zelensky: We stand in solidarity with the people of Colombia and Ecuador
Kyiv, August 10 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Zelensky said at least 25 people have lost their lives in the earthquake that struck western Colombia and also affected Ecuador, calling for support for those affected by the disaster.
Ukrainian President Zelensky made a statement regarding the earthquake that struck western Colombia and also affected neighboring Ecuador.
Zelensky said at least 25 people have so far been reported dead in the earthquake and that people remain trapped under the rubble. He extended his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and to everyone affected by the earthquake.
Stating that every loss of life is tragic, Zelensky said Ukraine stands with the people of Colombia and everyone affected by the disaster.
Zelensky also called on everyone around the world with the means to do so to support the people and countries affected by the earthquake.
