Al Mazrouei meets with Italian counterpart Crosetto
Abu Dhabi, March 2 (Hibya) - UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei and Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto discussed Iran’s recent attacks against the UAE and issues of military cooperation.
The UAE Ministry of Defense shared details of the high-level meeting held between the defense ministers of the UAE and Italy.
The ministers met on Saturday, February 28, and assessed the regional security situation and the bilateral strategic partnership.
During the meeting, the two sides addressed Iran’s recent attacks against the UAE, as well as reviewing ways to strengthen bilateral military cooperation and further develop the defense partnership between the two countries.
The statement noted: “This reflects the depth of UAE-Italy relations and their shared commitment to security and stability.”
