Prime Minister Mark Carney made a statement regarding the economic potential of bilateral relations between Canada and India.

Carney emphasized that the cooperation he has been advancing with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a new era of investment and technology for both countries.

Speaking on the matter, Carney said: “The Canada-India relationship has created tremendous opportunities for our workers and businesses. Prime Minister Modi and I are building on that: doubling our trade volume, attracting major new investments, and establishing new partnerships in energy, skills, and artificial intelligence.”
