Albares welcomes the agreement between Congo and M23
Madrid, 15 November (Hibya) – Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, stated that he welcomes the agreement signed between the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo and M23.
Minister Albares said he welcomes the agreement signed in Doha between the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo and M23.
Emphasizing that the agreement represents an important step towards peace and stability in the Great Lakes Region, Albares added: “I thank Qatar for its determination and mediation efforts, and I thank the parties for their constructive attitude.”
