Saidov: An important milestone in the history of good-neighborly relations in Central Asia
Tashkent, 15 November (Hibya) – Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov announced that the ratification documents for the “Border Intersection Point Protocol” were mutually exchanged with his counterparts from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
Minister Saidov stated that together with the foreign ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, a mutual exchange of the ratification documents for the Border Intersection Point Protocol of the three countries was carried out.
Describing this development as “an important and positive milestone in the history of good-neighborly relations in Central Asia,” Saidov emphasized that the protocol is the result of constructive dialogue, mutual trust, and the shared determination of the governments to strengthen peace and stability.
Regarding the protocol, Saidov said: “The completion of the ratification process demonstrates our joint capacity to resolve sensitive issues through diplomacy, respect, and a forward-looking approach.”
