Zelensky: We will also expand our defense operations plan for the winter months
Kyiv, 15 November (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with senior officials of the country’s defense and security sector.
During the meeting, Zelensky reviewed intelligence reports regarding Russia’s war capacity and its plans for the coming months.
Head of Defense Intelligence Kyrylo Budanov briefed on the situation along the most critical front lines and Russia’s military preparations, noting that once again, Russia failed to meet the deadlines set by Putin for capturing Pokrovsk and Kupiansk.
Oleh Ivashchenko from the Foreign Intelligence Service provided information on the political atmosphere in Russia, public sentiment, and the country’s economic situation.
Zelensky stated that defense priorities for the coming weeks have been determined: “We will also expand our defense operations plan for the winter months. We will continue implementing our long-term sanctions; our special services, especially the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Armed Forces, have specific tasks. Based on current situation assessments, we are preparing to coordinate our diplomatic efforts with key partners.”
