Baku, July 16 (Hibya) – President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a one-on-one meeting with Chairman of Turkmenistan’s People's Council Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Aliyev stated that they have successful cooperation in many areas: "Our historical ties form the basis of our current relations, and I believe your visit will give new momentum to our partnership. We have made significant progress in the political, economic, humanitarian fields, including transport and energy. Of course, today we will also exchange views on future cooperation."
