UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed his deep concern about the ongoing escalation of violence in Syria and strongly condemned all forms of violence against civilians.
Condemning Israel’s airstrikes contributing to the escalation and reports of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) redeploying in the Golan, Guterres said, “I call for an immediate end to all actions that violate Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
