Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar held phone conversations with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, and Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis.

During the talks, Minister Saar emphasized that massacres and attacks against minorities in Syria – Alawites, Kurds, Druze, and Christians – committed by both regime forces and jihadist groups supporting them, have become a recurring phenomenon. He also stressed that these uprisings are constantly being exploited for the regime's interests.

Saar further highlighted Israel’s interest and determination to prevent threats in southern Syria and to protect the Druze community from harm.
