Attack carried out from Lebanon toward northern Israel
Tel Aviv, March 22 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that fire was opened from Lebanese territory toward a settlement on the country’s northern border.
In a statement by the IDF, it was noted that the cross-border fire directly targeted a residential area.
Sharing initial information about the consequences of the attack, the IDF stated: "A short while ago, it was detected that fire was opened from Lebanon toward a settlement on the northern border. There is damage and casualties."
Authorities said that technical examinations regarding the source and type of the attack are ongoing, adding: "An investigation into the incident has been launched."
